LOVE
Through my heart, each person is supported with love, dignity and respect. Replacing negative self-talk and behaviours with positive ones by making a list of their positive attributes, doing activities that make them feel good and working on goals that develop self-worth, self-esteem, self-love and love for others
INDEPENDENCE
Using (C.P.R.) Developing independent choices, passions and respect for themselves and others. Each person is supported to develop awareness of their behaviors, identify their weaknesses and turn them into strengths. As well as what independent choices they must make to become more responsible in all areas of their life. Turning dependency into independence.
FULFILLMENT
Developing inner strength and self-confidence by setting realistic goals based on their hopes/dreams, achieving them and fulfilling their potential. Assist with helping them find their purpose building self-worth and self-esteem. They value themselves by what makes them unique, not their disability.
EMPOWERMENT
Teach them new skills and awareness that they can further learn and grow in all facets of their life. Help them live a life based on what they value most further developing awareness of who they are outside of their disability and embracing their personalities and what makes them unique. Then use their experiences to help others around them feel loved and build friendships. In the end, becoming stronger and more confident.
