“We had the great fortune to meet such a wonderful caring and responsible respite worker named Reece, approximately seven years ago through some government services that was offering respite assistance to parents/caregivers like ourselves.

Reece is an impressionable young man with a strong work ethics and has a solid understanding to individuals that have this "invisible disability" which can be mentally challenging at times to bring out the BEST and reassured their CONFIDENCE in his clients.

When our contract came to a close, we were so impressed with his gentle manner, dedication and compassionate to his clients, that we hired him privately without reservation to continue the great work with our son.

Our son's mental and physically health has improved vastly under the guidance of Reece. He now has a deeper understanding on how to "label" his feelings and not act out on "impulse" when making healthier choices with his mind and body. Easing my son's fears over new processes and fears of the "unknown" has calm him tremendously and in addition, his critical thinking skills has grown as well!

Reece has been part of our family for a long time and we feel its vitally important to have him continue to work with our son for an unspecified period of time.

We would highly recommend Reece to anyone looking for quality and trustworthy respite care!

Forever grateful parents”

We Have known Reece, for many years, as he went to school with my children as well as his brothers as well.  Their family is also very close with mine.

Reece started his business with LQS a few years ago, and my daughter was so happy to start working with him.  He was someone she knows from school and really respected him; he was always so kind to her and her friends.

My daughter has special needs, an intellectual disability, as well as autism, and A.D.H.D., anxiety and behavior issues as well.  She is currently 29 years old.

Reece is able to get her motivated, which can be very difficult to do.  She can be very irritable and gets easily distracted.  He keeps her focused and on track, and provides her exercises and ideas to handle difficult situations.  They work together in the gym focusing on cardio, stretch and strength, and training in the pool.  This type of training helps relieve her of her anxieties, and calm down her over thinking, and unwind.  He has also helped her with bus training, and learning her way around the city for employment purposes.  As well as bus training, he has helped her employment with skill training, and first aid training,

Since Kayla  began her training with Reece, she has developed a calmer attitude, and been able to learn different techniques to overcome stressful situations.  She has learnt to choose better alternatives for eating healthier, being accountable, budgeting her money, overcoming anxiety, and techniques to assist her in that.  He provides mental & emotional support for when she is dealing with depression, as well as communication styles and suggestions.

We are very happy for the service Reece provides and will continue to use his service for many years to come.

“Reece you are like the older brother that I never had.  I trust you and you make my life feel fuller and happier.  I never had an older brother-type figure in my life and thank you for being in my life you are like my coach for fitness and helping me with my brain and body.  You are awesome and I care for you”

Life quality supports for kids with autism in Vancouver, BC.

First and foremost, Reece has become a part of Graham’s extended family. Graham looks at Reece as a close family member. He relies on Reece for emotional guidance, strategy application to manage emotional awareness, and general life skills in the community including money skills (Debit card and PIN usage) and navigating transit. Safety, fun and accountability are always at the forefront of Graham’s sessions with Reece and there is no ceiling on how much Reece cares for Graham, and I am sure, his other clients.

Reece supervises and helps Graham apply strategies to monitor and deal with anxiety and communication skills related to unexpected events when out and about in the community, and when interacting with people on public transit. Reece is a competent individual who has a wealth of knowledge to share with Graham, and has proven to be Graham’s close ally in navigating life with numerous disabilities.

I would highly recommend Reece as a Behavioural and Life Support worker, or any other capacity to support individuals with diverse needs.

Huge Kudos to Reece at Life Quality Supports – he embodies his L.I.F.E expression:

·       Love – he is super passionate and does indeed work from his heart and treats everyone with love, dignity and respect; both the individual he is serving and the family!

·       Independence – he has helped my son be independent in travel and successful in a healthy workout and swim at local fitness centers

·       Fulfillment:  My son has been happily exercising weekly, initiating healthier eating and gaining not only muscle but tons of confidence.

·       Empowerment:  My son has learned how to use fitness equipment, navigate 3 different workout facilities, converse with other participants and above all make a new friend in Reece

As the parent, I loved the weekly confirmations and updates with photos!  The monthly report is super detailed and I truly appreciate the sincere interest in our family’s life and Reece's dedication and commitment to helping Teaghan grow and have the best life possible.

“started working with Reece to exercise and build a tummy 6 pack.  The hardest part was learning to lift weights and focus.  Reece helped me with music and making it fun. My favorite part of the workouts is bike riding and cardio. I want to tell potential clients that Reece is GREAT - caring, nice, patient, clear and FUN.'“
